Finding A Pet Friendly Vacation Home

These days, it’s surprisingly easy to find vacation homes that allow pets. A quick Internet search brings up several vacation rental sites with separate pet-friendly categories. Most assume you are bringing your dog, so if your travel companion is a cat or a ferret, you might want to double check with the owner to make sure it’s ok.

Where To Go?

There are many pet-friendly vacation homes all over the world, so it’s mostly a matter of where you want to travel. It is always easier to travel in your own country of course: there are no quarantine requirements, you know exactly what you need to bring without doing research, and you both speak the local language. :-)

After a satisfactory result of the blood test, there is a mandatory waiting period of 6 months before your pet is allowed to enter the UK. And that’s just one of their requirements.
